FAMILY HOUSE / UNDER CONSTRUCTION

The house sits on a narrow but elongated strip of land. Its footprint is determined by the legally required setbacks from the site’s boundaries: 5 meters to the front and 3 meters on each side. The house consists of two volumes, each aligned with one side of the site. Both volumes are simple rectangles, and the intersection of these two shapes—though straightforward—creates a sense of tension that gives the house a dynamic quality. Beyond this interplay, everything else is purely pragmatic.

The use of lime plaster on both the interior and exterior cladding, combined with cork insulation, creates a breathable wall that improves air quality and reduces the risk of dampness.
